Detail Description

Ketotifen Syrup/Suspension Specification

Description

Ketotifen, the active ingredient in Ketotifen Syrup/Suspension, acts as a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist. It blocks histamine receptors and inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells and basophils. By stabilizing mast cells, it prevents the release of histamine and other inflammatory substances—helping control allergic symptoms like rhinitis and chronic urticaria.
