Dosage

• Diclofenac Sodium (as prescribed by a physician)

• Rare: Blood dyshaematopoiesis, peptic ulcers, abnormalities of liver and kidney function, skin reactions, pain at injection site

Indications

• Relief of signs and symptoms of Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis

• Acute or long-term relief of Ankylosing Spondylitis

• Pain and inflammation in Acute Gout and minor surgery

• Also indicated for Chronic Juvenile Arthritis

When Not to Use

• Severe hepatic or renal impairment

• Ischemic heart diseases

• Cerebrovascular diseases

• Peripheral arterial disease

• Congestive heart failure (CHF)

Artifen Tablets Precautions

• Monitor patients on long-term treatments

Artifen Tablets Warnings

Warning 1

• Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, renal, hepatic or cardiac insufficiency, and haematological abnormalities

Warning 2

• During long-term therapy, monitor liver function and blood counts

Warning 3

• Discontinue medication and inform the prescriber if persistent stomach pain, cramps, or blood in stool occurs
