How It Works:

Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain.

Dosage (Adult):

• Typical dose: 550mg initially, followed by 275mg every 6–8 hours as needed

• Maximum daily dose: Do not exceed 1375mg/day unless directed by a doctor

• Take with food to reduce stomach upset
