Used For

Treatment of bacterial infections, especially those caused by beta-lactamase producing organisms resistant to standard penicillin-class antibiotics.

How It Works

  • Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

  • Clavulanic Acid blocks the beta-lactamase enzyme that makes some bacteria resistant to amoxicillin.
    Together, they provide broader antibacterial coverage.

Dosage

To be used as directed by the physician, based on age, weight, and severity of infection. (Typically used in pediatric patients.)

Side Effects

Indications
