Cebosh (Cefixime) Syrp

Detail Description

Cefixime present in the suspension is known to interact with medicines like anticonvulsants (carbamazepine), & anticoagulants (blood thinners) like warfarin. So, keep doctor informed of all the medications that are in your use.
Inform doctor before taking cebosh if you have past medical history of phenylketonuria (increase in level of phenylalanine in blood), colitis, liver, or kidney disease.
A prior use of cebosh or unwanted use of it may lead to increased risks of anemia (less red blood cells in body).
Patients with abnormal liver function & poor nutritional states have increased risk of fall in prothrombin time (PTT, means blood clots faster than normal) while using cefixime
Risks of cefixime increases in patients with kidney related issues where prothrombin activity falls.
Severe side effects reported while its use in pseudomembranous colitis (inflammation of colon)
Cefixime should not be used in Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea as it leads to further severity in inflammatory condition of intestine.
